Halvgudene III

This is the book cover illustration I did for Arven etter Maél which is the third book in Mari Moen Holsve's fantasy trilogy Halvgudene (The Demigods). The previous two covers were done by some good, old colleages and friends of mine, Christer Sveen and Grant Regan.
The cover design has just been announced and the book will be published by Cappelen Damm some time next month.

Hi! I'm Liz, the founder/director of blankspace, and I thank you for not throwing this message away (I'm terrible at writing subject lines!). I have been a follower of your work for some time, and finally found the courage to reach out to you. I run the blankspace blog (formerly Get Lost blog) where we feature and interview different artists almost daily (or, as often as I have time for) simply for the inspiration of our viewers. Now, I have started a gallery/studio which focuses on bridging the gap between artist and buyer, as well as artwork and viewer.
I am interested in featuring you for our next show, Sketchy, where we will be simply displaying sketchbooks for our viewers to flip through. In this, we hope to bring admiration to the process as well as the raw creative output artists have when they feel secure and uninhibited in their personal works. The show will run from mid September through mid October, and all sketchbooks will be returned unless the artist specifically states they would like to be sold.
They will be left open for the audience to flip through, and though we will keep a strict eye on the audience to ensure nothing is destroyed, a little dog-eared pages is to be expected.
All mediums and artistic avenues are accepted, from animation to sculpture to fine art to comic books to illustration. We prefer finished or near finished books, but if a book is particularly interesting then this can be waived.
I won't go into much more detail, as hopefully this has enticed those interested into contacting me further with inquiries. I only ask that you email me by October 1st so I can curate a show properly, and leave plenty of time to ship the books so I receive them in time for the opening show.
As I said, please contact me with any questions, and feel free to check out our website for more details. Thanks!
